In this edition, we’re introducing you to Ann Marie!
Q: How long have you been employed at Pride and in your current role?
ANN MARIE: Next month, I’ll proudly celebrate 24 years with the company. I’ve been working directly with consumers since the very beginning. When I first started, my role primarily involved fielding leads for individuals seeking our products. Over the years, it’s been incredibly fulfilling to se how our offerings have evolved and how we continue to meet the needs of those who rely on us for their mobility and independence.
Q: What brought you to Pride?

ANN MARIE: A friend of mine, who worked for a dealer in Pennsylvania near our corporate office, encouraged me to apply to Pride Mobility. I had also heard from many others about how great the company was to work for, so I decided to apply, and in October 2000, I was hired.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your role?
ANN MARIE: You get the opportunity to connect with interesting people from all over the country. I especially like talking with our customers and hearing their stories about how we’ve changed their lives. It’s fulfilling to know that our products make such a meaningful difference.
Q: Do you have a memorable story of working with a consumer that sticks out to you, and why?
ANN MARIE: Every week, we hear heartfelt stories from people who thank us for how our products have helped them enjoy precious moments, like spending more time with their grandchildren and loved ones. Recently, while on vacation in the Caribbean, I met Mark, a veteran from Ohio, who was using one of our Jazzy 600 ES models. I introduced myself, thanked him for his service, and mentioned that I work for Pride Mobility. The smile on his face made me feel truly proud to be part of the company. He expressed deep gratitude for how our product had made his vacation more enjoyable and asked me to personally thank the ‘Chief’ for creating such a great product.
Q: What do you like to do for fun? Any hobbies or interests? ANN MARIE: As I mentioned from my time in the Caribbean, I love to travel. I’m also an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Phillies. Spending time with my granddaughter is one of my favorite things, and I’m excitedly awaiting the arrival of my first grandson at the end of October.
