This month’s adventure with my Baja Wrangler 2 took me around my housing community to see the horses. The property I own is in a development that is horse friendly. The community was established in the 1970s with dirt roads and acreage to accommodate stables. There are multiple properties in my community that have stables and multiple horses, but the dirt road has since been replaced with gravel. It is still only one road in and one road out, so the ability to pull over in my truck isn’t an option.

This led me to have the great idea of taking my Wrangler 2 to see the horses. My property sits in the back side of the community, and it is about a quarter of a mile to the horses. As the road is only gravel, I would not be able to push myself in my manual chair.
With a quick transfer to my Wrangler 2, I was on my way out the driveway and down the gravel road. The Wrangler 2 handled the potholes and bumps flawlessly and I made it to the stables easily. The battery motors are so quiet on the wrangler 2 so the horses barely even recognized me coming. I was able to enjoy a couple of minutes admiring the beauty of these animals. The owners take great care of the horses and it’s not something I see every day living full time in the city.

On my way back to my house I passed the speed limit sign of the community. The speed limit is 15 miles per hour and the Baja wrangler 2 tops out at 11 miles per hour, so I didn’t have to worry about getting yelled at by the HOA members. We all know how HOA members can be!
It was a fun little trip to see the horses in my community. The ride on the Baja Wrangler 2 is a smooth and enjoyable ride. I now have ridden over 18 miles on the Baja Wrangler 2 and it has never failed me once.
With the summer coming to an end, I am excited to use my Wrangler 2 to explore some fall foliage as the trees change colors and shed their leaves. I have no doubt that when the leaves have fallen the Wrangler 2 will roll right over them without any problems.
