Each Pride Mobility® product has its own warranty, and each warranty outlines the different parts and coverage. The details of these warranties differ depending on the product, and it’s important to understand these differences if in need of service to your electric wheelchair, mobility scooter, or power lift recliner.
This brief guide will help you understand our various warranties and the ways you can go about requesting service for a product or individual part.
Remember to register your new product.
Within a week of the purchase and receipt of your Pride product, we encourage you to complete our Warranty Registration form. By doing so, it allows our team to stay more connected and better service you in the future. You’ll be asked to enter the serial number of your product. If you’re unsure of where your serial number is located, we have that answer for you under our Frequently Asked Questions.
Where to find warranty information
The warranty information for each Pride product is located under each respective product page on our website.
For instance, let’s say you’re interested in the warranty information for our Pursuit 2 mobility scooter. On the Pursuit 2 product page, you’ll see a horizontal menu toward the top of the page, with a tab labeled TESTING STANDARDS & WARRANTY, which takes you to another page. If you scroll toward the bottom of that page, you’re able to click a link which takes you to that product’s warranty information.
Warranties differ, depending on the product.
Using the Pursuit 2 again as an example, the warranty information indicates a lifetime limited warranty on structural frame components. There’s a two-year limited warranty for certain parts and electronics, and a six-month warranty for the battery, which is provided by the battery manufacturer. There are also several warranty exclusions on items that may require replacement due to normal wear and tear.
While these warranties are uniform for all Pride mobility scooters, they do not apply to our electric wheelchairs or power lift recliners. There are also different warranties depending on the model of electric wheelchair.
This important information will help you understand what parts of your product are covered by warranty, and for how long. Remember, you can visit each product page individually and look for the TESTING STANDARDS & WARRANTY tab, or you may visit this page, which contains all warranty information for each type of product.

VIVA LIFT is a scam my hand controller stopped working after slightly more than 1 year, They want me to pay a service call to say if my warranty covers something that is under warranty according to the manual. The service call will cost me more than the part itself. WHAT A JOKE.
