A Year in Review of Pride Mobility: 2020

The year of 2020 started out promising. Like most people at the beginning of every year, we had exciting plans. As the year started, we worked toward making each of these hopes and ideas reality. The year 2020 was turned on its head, however, in March, once the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States. Even so, we have continued serving our valued customers through creating new technology to help them live their best. We want to highlight some of these accomplishments from the past year.

Pride Mobility Products Website Redesign

2020 kicked off with the launch of our newly redesigned website. Not only were the navigation and graphics updated to match our new branding, but we also added an accessibility menu. The accessible-friendly menu gives visitors the option to increase the text size, cursor size, highlight links and more on our site. Another modern feature is a color selector on product pages, which shows what the product looks like in that color.

Our goal in giving our website this fresh, new look is another way to stay true to our commitment to provide the best customer experience in the industry. Packed with useful information, catalog-style photography and an easy navigation, we give consumers a one-of-a-kind experience where they can feel confident in choosing the right mobility product.

Pride Mobility Making the Best of It

Life as we knew it seemed to stop once the COVID-19 pandemic swept the country. Individuals and companies across the nation had to adapt and abide to new guidelines set in place to stop the spread of the virus. There was a period of adjustment as we navigated the changes to our operations while trying to keep our employees and those around them safe. Some of these changes included, sick employees staying home, many employees working remotely, practicing social distancing, proper handwashing and increased the intensity of cleaning.

Pride Mobility Subsidiary Opens in Germany

In May of 2020, we expanded our international presence to Hövelhof, Germany. Pride Mobility’s success in the German market for over 20 years has called for a new stand-alone subsidiary. The Pride Germany facility features 16,000 square feet of space. Inside the facility, you can find a large warehouse, showroom, training room, four offices, a repair shop and a technical service area.

Pride Mobility Launches New iRIDE™ Scooter

We are always looking to provide our consumers with the latest in technology and style. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched two new products this year. One of those products was the iRIDE™ scooter. This scooter combines an aluminum frame, lithium batteries and brushless motors to create an ultra-lightweight and modern design for easy travel. Other features include a digital LCD display, a manual hand brake, a supplemental foot brake, a twist grip throttle, an easy-to-grip tiller adjustment knob, an on/off switch and five color options.

Pride Mobility Launches Go Chair® MED Power Wheelchair

During the fall of 2020, we launched a new power wheelchair to meet the needs of consumers who live busy, active lifestyles outside the home, but were looking for an electric wheelchair that is coded through insurance. The Go Chair® MED is like the Go Chair® but has some additional enhancements.

The Go Chair MED power wheelchair is feature-rich with a compact design and a tight turning radius. Its feather-touch disassembly allows users to easily disassemble the chair in just a few steps, making it a great option for a portability. Finally, the Go Chair MED has two different seating options, allowing consumers to get the seat size that is right for them.
