Exeter, PA – October 25, 2013 – Pride Mobility Products® Corporation and its Quantum Rehab® division have been recognized for supporting USA Cares, a national non-profit that provides financial and advocacy assistance to post-9/11 U.S. military families.

Quantum Rehab and USA Cares Spokesperson Bryan Anderson, along with Dick McLane, General Manager of Product Marketing at Quantum Rehab, were joined by Pride Mobility Products’ Chairman and CEO, Scott Meuser, to accept the award on Oct. 18 in recognition of Pride and Quantum’s support of USA Cares and the families that the organization serves.

Anderson is a Purple Heart recipient who served two tours of duty in Iraq and became a triple amputee in 2005 when his Humvee drove over an IED. After a13-month rehabilitation, Anderson, in spite of his own challenges, dedicated his life to serving both other injured service members, as well as all with disabilities.

“Our goal with USA Cares is to not only provide vital financial support to service members in need, but to also show others that you can go through a profoundly life-changing event and thrive,” Anderson said upon accepting the award. “For me, it’s not just about giving, but giving back.”

Anderson and McLane, who resides on the Board of Directors of USA Cares, travel the country, keynoting fundraising events for the organization, where Anderson’s story of resilience resonates with those of all backgrounds.

“We’re presenting Pride Mobility, Quantum Rehab, Bryan Anderson and Dick McLane with this plaque in appreciation of their efforts,” said Peter Giusti, President of USA Cares during the award presentation. “We value the company and want them to know they are making a difference in the lives of veterans and their families.”
