Your Gift Guide to Mobility Products

Picking out gifts for your loved ones each year can be a challenge. Some people are naturally good at picking the perfect gifts for their friends and family, but for many people, it can be difficult. Things get more complicated depending on the individual; some people are easier to buy for than others. Perhaps you know someone who is living with reduced or limited mobility and you want to give them the gift of mobility this season. Finding the right product that meets your loved one’s needs can be tough. Where do you start? Let us help you find the gift that will best fit the needs of your loved ones.

Mobility Scooters as Gifts

At Pride Mobility we have a variety of mobility scooters to choose from. Our scooters are divided into the following categories: travel scooters, medical mobility scooters and 4-wheel mobility scooters. The choice you make depends on the needs of your loved one’s lifestyle and needs. For example, the Zero Turn 8 is a great option for those who spend a fair amount of time both indoors and outdoors. This scooter has the stability of a 4-wheel scooter with the turning radius of a 3-wheel scooter, meaning that your friend or family member will be able to ride over different types of terrain when going out and about, yet have a turning radius that helps them navigate small and narrow spaces.

If your loved one is a traveler, we have a whole line of travel mobility scooters, known as the Go-Go® series. There are different models of Go-Go scooters available to serve different needs, both with 3-wheel and 4-wheel options. With feather-touch disassembly, the traveler in your life can easily break their scooter down into five lightweight pieces to transport it.

Power Wheelchairs as Gifts

It can be easy to get power wheelchairs and electric scooters confused. However, once you know the differences, it is simple to tell the two apart. One of the biggest differences between a scooter and a power chair is how they are operated. Mobility scooters are equipped with a tiller and handlebars, as opposed to a power wheelchair, which is operated using a joystick. Your friend or family member’s range of mobility in operating a device may indicate whether a scooter or power chair is best for them.

We have a wide range of Jazzy® power wheelchairs to fit the needs of those with limited mobility. For example, the Jazzy Air® 2 elevates 12” in just 11 seconds at the touch of a switch allowing for eye-to-eye social interactions and increases independence around the house when reaching objects on high shelves.

If the person you would like to buy for loves to travel, but may require the use of a power chair, they can travel with ease with our Jazzy® Passport or Go Chair®. With the Jazzy Passport, travel is as simple as folding the power chair. Much like the Go-Go scooter line, the Go Chair offers feather-touch disassembly, allowing the electric wheelchair to easily disassembles into five lightweight pieces for transport and storage.

Power Lift Recliners as Gifts

Perhaps the person you have in mind prefers the comfort of their own home than going out. If you’re searching for a power lift recliner that is the ultimate in style and performance®, look no further than Pride Power Lift Recliners. Our power lift recliners are designed to be a functional and fashionable part of home décor. Each lift recliner is built for quality and reliability, so your loved ones can enjoy it worry-free for many years to come.
