Veterans Day is observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. At this time of year, we reflect on the sacrifices made by these brave men and women and their willingness to serve for the common good.
Pride Mobility® and Quantum Rehab® deeply value the service that veterans and their family members have given to their country. We are proud to support them, not only through employment within our company, but also through our relationship with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and non-profit organizations. Our mission is not only to supply veterans with world-class mobility products that fit a wide range of needs, but to provide the resources necessary for them to experience life to the fullest when their service has concluded.
Supporting the Hiring of Veterans

Pride supports the hiring of veterans, returning service members, and their military spouses. We know the exceptional leadership, skills, and perspectives that veterans can bring to our business. Pride employees who are qualifying veterans get Veterans Day off as a paid holiday. That’s our small way of saying “thank you” for your service.
Pride employs many veterans across the country, including Undra Hill, a native of Tupelo, Mississippi who served in the U.S. Navy as an E6 Sonar Technician. He’s been with Pride at our Mississippi location for more than four years.
“Pride Mobility is a great company to work for,” Undra said. “I am honored to be part of an organization that treats veterans and active military members with dignity and respect. I am thankful to be part of the Pride MS team.”
Working with the VA to Meet Veterans’ Needs
Pride works closely with the VA and its many locations around the country to help provide the gift of mobility to veterans. We maintain a site dedicated to providing our partners at the VA with critical resources and information that can be shared with veterans and their families. Product brochures, catalogs, and order forms are available through this site.
We regularly listen to feedback from medical professionals at the VA to learn more about veterans’ mobility needs, so that we may better understand how to design our products for them. We are proud to offer a comprehensive variety of electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters tailored to the needs of veterans.
Additionally, VA professionals can sign up for a newsletter that Pride distributes on a regular basis. They can stay informed as to the latest product developments, government affairs updates, reimbursement information, and more.
Supporting Veterans through Organizations
Pride and Quantum are proud to be national sponsors of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), a non-profit organization that helps injured veterans live the full, rewarding lives they deserve.
The PVA fights for better health care and benefits, aids in the search for a truly satisfying career, and provides the path to adventure through adaptive sports. What’s more, they are committed to ongoing care by educating clinicians about spinal cord injuries, and they are deeply invested in the future: a cure for paralysis.
One particular event that Pride and Quantum partner with the PVA on each year is the National Veterans Wheelchair Games. Our team attends the Games each year to support the hundreds of veterans competing and keep them moving with adjustments, programming, and critical repairs throughout the week of competition.
Brand Ambassadors
Pride and Quantum each have a team of brand ambassadors who represent the company by showcasing how their mobility devices help them achieve greater freedom in everyday life. Among them is Bryan Anderson, an Iraq War veteran who served two tours of duty.
In October 2005, Bryan was injured by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), which resulted in the loss of both legs and his left hand. Due to his injuries, he was awarded a Purple Heart. Bryan is one of the few triple amputees to have survived his injuries in Iraq.
Bryan is an ambassador of the Gary Sinise Foundation, a spokesman for USA Cares, and a brand ambassador for Quantum Rehab. He uses the Edge® 3 with iLevel® to maintain his independence in daily life. Most recently, Bryan has become the spokesperson for the Quantum Outback and demonstrates the value of an active, outdoor lifestyle. Bryan travels the country making numerous personal appearances while delivering his message of perseverance and determination in major rehab facilities.
We are proud to have Bryan as part of the Pride and Quantum family and are inspired by the example he sets everyday as a veteran living his life without limits.
